Quantum Held Promotion Conference for StorNext

Quantum held a promotion conference for its StorNext software in Beijing, Sept 16. A comprehensive introduction for StoNext was delivered during the conference, on which Quantum also celebrated for rebroadcasting Beijing Olympic Games successfully.

StorNext software was adopt by CCTV, China Central Television Station, undertaking responsibility for video capture and back up on 2008 Beijing Olympic Games. Quantum hoped to take this opportunity to extend StorNext software accross China.

Quantum StorNext data management software enables systems to share a high speed pool of images, media content, analytical data, and other key digital assets so files can be processed and distributed quicker.

Even in heterogeneous environments, all files are easily accessible to all hosts-SAN or LAN. When performance is key issue, StorNext recommends SAN connectivity to achieve throughput that extends over 10GBps. For cost efficiency and fan-out, StorNext offers LAN-based access using clustered gateway systems with resiliency and throughput that outperforms traditional network sharing methods.
