This document describes the performance of remote mirroring using VERITAS Volume Manager(VxVM)as measured by online transaction processing(OLTP) workload.
The study was done in single node and Oracle RAC environments.The benchmark used for this study was derived from the commonly used TPC-C benchmark that comprises a mixture of read-only and update intensive transactions that a warehouse supplier environment.
