This case study illustrates how to implement a SAN-based synchronous mirroring solution that provides a real-time synchronized second copy of data over a six-mile (10 km) distance. Using the synchronized mirroring function provided by Softek™ Storage Provisioner software, a campus-wide mirror was created over a 10 km distance to provide a high availability solution in the event of primary storage failure.
